About me.
I’ve worked in the education, charity and cultural sector for over two decades specialising in strategic communications, relationship management and partnerships.
I’ve built strong performing teams, with a focus on energetic and sustainable ways of working.
I started my career in theatre where I experienced collaboration, diversity and difference. These experiences have remained important to me throughout my working life.
After completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, I worked for local and national radio and tv, producing and reporting daily news (BBC Radio 1, BBC London, ITN). It was here I began to see how complicated life can get.
I became one of the youngest female senior managers at University of the Arts London, where I built and led a large team focused on internal and external relations. During this time, I supported many transitions and was struck by how challenging these, or any life event, can be for the individual and for the team.
I’m a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, I have a Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring from the ILM and a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
After working in and around London for over twenty years I’m now back in North Yorkshire. I take inspiration from the big skies and sense of space in this rural environment and use this in my work and my everyday life.
I continue to have a commitment to collaborate with as many diverse organisations and individuals as possible.
